Question 1

What is DocRush?

Accepted Answer

DocRush is a booking platform that connects patients with doctors and clinics in Dubai. You can search by specialty and area, compare providers, and book appointments online — all for free.

Question 2

Is DocRush free for patients?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Searching for doctors, booking appointments, and using the platform is completely free for patients. You only pay the doctor or clinic directly for the consultation itself.

Question 3

Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

No. You can book as a guest and we will email you a private link to manage that appointment. Creating an account keeps all your bookings and preferences in one place.

Question 4

Which areas does DocRush cover?

Accepted Answer

DocRush currently serves patients and providers across Dubai, UAE. We are actively expanding to cover more areas.

Question 5

How do I book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Search for a doctor by specialty or name, choose an available time slot, and confirm your booking. You'll receive a confirmation and reminders before your appointment.

Question 6

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can cancel or reschedule from your Appointments page. Please check the provider's cancellation policy, as some may require advance notice.

Question 7

Will I get appointment reminders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DocRush sends you reminders before your appointment so you never miss a visit.

Question 8

Can I message my doctor before the appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once your appointment is confirmed, you can use the built-in messaging feature to communicate with your doctor's office directly.

Question 9

What if no time slots are available?

Accepted Answer

If a doctor's calendar is fully booked, try checking back later or searching for another provider in the same specialty.

Question 10

Are the clinics on DocRush real and licensed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Before a clinic appears on DocRush we confirm the practice is real and operating, verify the address, opening hours and contact details shown, and check its licence on the Dubai Health Authority's Sheryan register. We check at the time of listing rather than continuously, and DocRush is not a regulator — so you can always re-check any licence yourself on the DHA Sheryan portal.

Question 11

Where do the listings come from?

Accepted Answer

There are two kinds, and both are checked by us before they go live. Partner clinics work with DocRush directly, and you can book an appointment with them through the site. Directory listings are verified Dubai clinics that are not partners — they are compiled independently from publicly available information, they do not pay to appear and are not contacted beforehand, so they are not paid placements. Directory listings are not bookable here, so contact the clinic directly. Any clinic can claim its listing to keep the details accurate, or apply to become a partner.

Question 12

How do I know which doctor is right for me?

Accepted Answer

You can search by specialty, Dubai area and date. Each profile shows the specialty, the languages spoken, the clinic location and the clinic's contact details, so you can call ahead with any questions.

Question 13

How can a doctor or clinic join DocRush?

Accepted Answer

Doctors and clinics can apply through our 'For Clinics' page. Once the application is approved, your profile goes live on the platform.

Question 14

Is my data safe on DocRush?

Accepted Answer

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell it. Our Privacy Policy is issued under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and sets out the detail.

Question 15

Who can see my booking details?

Accepted Answer

Your booking details go to the clinic you book with, and to the service providers that run our hosting and email. DocRush does not store medical records, and we never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Question 16

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can request account deletion at any time by contacting our support team. We will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Question 17

How do I know if a doctor accepts my insurance?

Accepted Answer

Clinics can list the insurance providers they accept on their profile. DocRush does not verify coverage and does not filter search results by insurance, so please confirm with the clinic before your visit.

Question 18

Does DocRush handle insurance claims?

Accepted Answer

No. Insurance claims and payments are handled directly between you, your insurance provider, and the clinic.

Question 19

How do I list my practice on DocRush?

Accepted Answer

Apply through our provider registration page. Once your application is approved, you can set up your profile, services and schedule, and start accepting bookings.

Accepted Answer
